Welcome to The Lighthouse Room at The Blue Carriage House! This nautical-inspired suite features a plush KING BED, a fully equipped KITCHEN, a private bathroom with a bathtub and a sofa-bed that folds out to a full-size bed. Just one block from St. George Street, you’re a short walk to the Matanzas Bay riverfront, Castillo de San Marcos, and the Bridge of Lions. Inspired by the iconic St. Augustine Lighthouse, this room offers a bright and welcoming haven.
• ONE FREE PARKING PASS is included with your stay for the Historic Downtown Parking Facility at 1 Cordova Street (approximately a 7-minute walk from the house). *Important* The parking pass does not guarantee a spot. Parking is available on a first come – first serve basis (1,200 spots). Most of the time this is not an issue, with the exception of some major holiday events. More details will be provided before arrival.
• While downtown’s vibrancy is part of its charm, we provide earplugs for light sleepers to ensure a comfortable stay. The City of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits excessive noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday.
• This room is located on the first floor. Guests will need to climb one standard stair set to reach the exterior door on the back porch.
