Welcome to the Citrus Room, a very special room at The Blue Carriage House! This vibrant suite features a 10′ ceiling, plush KING BED, a complete modern KITCHEN, double shower head and a private entrance. Located just one block from St. George Street, you’re a short walk to the Matanzas Bay riverfront, Castillo de San Marcos, and the Bridge of Lions. Infused with the zest of Florida’s citrus heritage, this room offers a bright and cheerful retreat for your Downtown, St. Augustine adventure!
• ONE FREE PARKING PASS is included with your stay for the Historic Downtown Parking Facility at 1 Cordova Street (approximately a 7-minute walk from the house). *Important* The parking pass does not guarantee a spot. Parking is available on a first come – first serve basis (1,200 spots). Most of the time this is not an issue, with the exception of some major holiday events. More details will be provided before arrival.
• While downtown’s vibrancy is part of its charm, we provide earplugs for light sleepers to ensure a comfortable stay. The City of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits excessive noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday.
• This room is located on the second floor and has two exterior doors. Both entrances to this room require stairs. FRONT door – standard stair set to reach the front porch exterior door, then a historic staircase (a little steeper and narrower than most modern stairs). BACK door – three sets of standard outdoor wooden deck stairs to reach the back door. *See listing photos*
Room 02, the Citrus Room, is perched on the second floor of The Blue Carriage House and offers two convenient entrances. Guests can access the room via the front door and an interior staircase or through the private back entrance, reached by an exterior stairwell from the patio area.
With everything just steps away, you can park your car and fully immerse yourself in the Nation’s Oldest City. It’s the ideal setting for a truly walkable and unforgettable St. Augustine getaway. If you decide to book a trolley tour you could hop on just a block away at Hypolita / St. George Street – see everything, then hop off when they loop back around.
Step outside and find yourself surrounded by coffee shops, museums, and a variety of restaurants serving everything from local seafood to international cuisine. Stroll through parks, national monuments, admire the stunning historical architecture, and immerse yourself in the rich history that makes St. Augustine so unique.
